Khutsot Hayotser International Arts & Crafts Fair,

July 27 - August 7, 1999


The Fair will be open every evening (except Friday) from 18:00 - 23:30 (Saturday from the end of the Sabbath until midnight).

The Fair will take place in the Mitchell Garden (next to David's Tower), the Merrill Hassenfeld Amphitheater in the Sultan's Pool and the Khutsot Hayotser Arts and Crafts Center.


Israeli Arts and Crafts Fair

More than 150 Israeli artists and artisans including:

will exhibit paintings, printings, ceramics, metalwork and jewelry, wood works, toys. weaving and textile, art in mixed techniques and more.

International Fair

A diversity of authentic art in the International Pavilion.
From the Far East: Indonesia, India, Vietnam, Japan, Nepal, China,
Papua New Guinea and Thailand.
From South and Central America: Ecuador, Bolivia, Brazil, Guatemala,
Mexico, Peru, Paraguay and Cuba.
From Europe and Asia: Uzbekistan, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Latvia, Turkey and Finland.
From Africa: Ghana, South Africa, Zimbabwe, Nigeria, Senegal and
Kenya.
From North Africa: Morocco
Many guest artists from participating countries will demonstrate the
creative process of their crafts for the visiting public.

Puppet shows, clown performances, camel and donkey rides, and more.

International Food Fair

A rich variety of ethnic flavors from the kitchens of countries all around the world, in an atmosphere of ethnic music

Oriental Fair

Oriental folklore, including an exhibition of crafts and a traditional Beduin tent.
